Data Deletion
Last updated: July 3, 2026
1. What This Page Covers
This page explains how accounts and personal data are deleted in the CoachApp platform provided by CoachApp: exactly what gets deleted, who can request it and how, and on what timeline. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
2. What Coach Account Deletion Covers
Because of the Service's architecture, every Coach has a fully isolated database. Full deletion of a Coach account means a permanent hard delete of:
- the Coach's account record in the master database (username, password hash, contact details, subscription data);
- the Coach's entire isolated database — including all of their Clients' data: profiles, access codes, body measurements, programs and workout logs, food diaries, uploaded photos, finance records, schedule entries, and notes.
Deletion is performed by an administrator and is irreversible: once deletion and the backup purge are complete, the data cannot be recovered.
3. How Coaches Request Deletion
Send a request from the email address linked to your account (or state your username and verify account ownership by another agreed means) to hello@coachapp.example with the subject "Account deletion". Include:
- the username of your Coach account;
- confirmation that you understand all of your Clients' data will be permanently deleted as well.
Before requesting deletion, we recommend exporting any data you need and informing your Clients: after deletion they will lose access to their workout and nutrition history.
4. How Clients Get Their Data Corrected or Deleted
The data controller for a Client's records is their Coach (see the Privacy Policy), so:
- contact your Coach first — the Coach can correct your data or delete your Client record and its associated entries directly in the app;
- if you cannot reach your Coach or the issue is not resolved, write to our support at hello@coachapp.example — we will assist within our role as data processor.
5. Backups
Database backups exist to protect against technical failures. Backups containing deleted data are purged within 30 days of the deletion. During that window the data exists only inside backups, is not accessible in the Service, and is used solely for disaster recovery; if a restore from backup were ever needed, previously deleted data would be re-deleted.
6. What Survives Deletion
The only exception to full deletion is the payment ledger: records of received subscription payments must be retained for accounting purposes for the periods required by the law of the Republic of Belarus. These records are anonymised — the link to personal data is removed and only the information needed for statutory reporting is kept (dates, amounts, payment purpose).
7. Timeline
Deletion requests are processed within approximately 10 business days of verifying the requester's identity. The backup purge completes within 30 days of the deletion (Section 5). We will confirm completion by email.
8. Contact
